Why “Piece by Piece” is the movie for everyone this Long Weekend

“Piece by Piece” is an inspiring documentary that dives into the life and creative journey of Pharrell Williams a multicomplex artist known for his impact on music, fashion, and culture. Directed by the talented Morgan Deville, the film offers an intimate look at Pharrell’s evolution in LEGO, showcasing not just his successes, but also the challenges he has faced along the way. The documentary opens with Pharrell’s early years in Virginia Beach, where his love for music began. Through a series of interviews, childhood friends, and family, we see Mr. Williams transforms from a curious child into a global icon. The film highlights his collaborations with Jay Z, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg and many various artists, revealing the thought processes and inspirations behind hits like “Drop Like it’s Hot” and “Happy”.
